Ladies

The Ladies Section organise regular competitions on a Thursday together with competitions over the weekends. In addition there are many social events both for ladies only and together with other sections of the club.

The ladies have an A and B team in the Gloucestershire Alliance and play friendly matches home and away against local clubs.

The ladies section welcomes all new members you are sure to make new friends.

Juniors

Stinchcombe Hill GC recognises juniors as a key element of our future. 

For certain age groups we offer free membership in order to encourage juniors to try golf.

Men

Stinchcombe Hill has a flourishing mens section with regular competitions being held throughout the year. We also have many social opportunities to meet new friends and enjoy relaxed golf. With regular ‘roll up’s’ you can always be assured of a game.

With an A team playing in the North Gloucestershire Foursomes League and a B team playing more social but no less competitive matches. Due to our history we also have Club Matches played on a home and away basis a fantastic way of meeting new people and enjoying many excellent courses.

All new members are welcome and will soon make many new friends and opponents to enjoy golf on the hill.

Seniors

Senior's golf is a wonderful way of meeting other members, making new friends and having an enjoyable round of golf. At Stinchcombe Hill, the Senior's section is a sub-section of the main Club with membership open to all males aged 55 and over. It is a highly active section with approximately 100 members. An annual subscription fee of £5 is required.

Competitions for section members are played every Tuesday morning (weather permitting) throughout the calendar year. These include over 20 trophy competitions. Entry is via a booking sheet displayed on the Senior's noticeboard in the lobby of the male changing rooms. This will change to an online booking system in the coming months. An entry fee (normally £2 per competition) is payable prior to playing.
The section also provides a team to play matches against other Club's Senior sections. Currently we have 26 friendly matches on our fixture list playing at some of the best clubs/courses in and around the local area. These are competitive matches with the added benefit of an after-match meal and drink included. All Senior members are encouraged to join in. A fixture list is posted on the Senior's notice board and you are invited to indicate your availability if you wish to participate in any individual match.
